Coming in at 523HP, this car will put you back into your seat with no problem. We had the amazing opportunity to test it out in upstate New York. You will know everything about this car in under 5 minutes from the inside out, and if its worth its $131K price tag.
The wild-berry color off the bat is a purple pleaser. The performance is just a bonus. The m850i is available in a coupe or sedan which is a nice option to have. Not only does this car offer sport mode it offers a comfort mode which makes this model a possible option when it comes to a daily driver. This car comes fully equipped with 14-way power-adjustable heated front seats, soft-close automatic doors, and customizable ambient lighting; more extravagant upgrades include glass control and additional high-end materials. The only down side that we found with the coupe was that the back seats had no leg room which would not be pleasant for any adult. We were able to hold 4 suit cases in the trunk, 2 oversized suit cases and 2 travel on suit cases. The back seats were great for holding 2 more medium sized duffel bags. This is no family car by any means but it makes for a great daily driver if you are looking for a thrill day in and day out.
Like we mentioned earlier this car has 523HP, twin turbo V8 engine and standard all-wheel drive. The less powerful 840i, twin turbo V6 offers a better fuel economy rating but the 850i still gets 18 mpg city, and 25 highway. During our road trip upstate we were able to reach anywhere between 26 mpg – 28mpg, which definitely exceeds what BMW has it estimated at. The sound that this car puts out also exceeds all expectations with its deep crackling back fire. Put it in sport mode and enjoy the true performance that this car has to offer; you won’t be disappointed.
