45 YEARS OF COCKPIT USA

Dec 4, 2020 | Fashion | 1 comment

For 45 years, Cockpit USA has been a name synonymous with craftsmanship, quality, and authenticity. As an official government supplier, the company has had quite a few celebrities and public figures sport it over the years, from President Bush and President Obama wearing the A-2 Leather Flight Jacket on Air Force One to Sylvester Stallone wearing the B-3 Shearling in Rocky III and even lending their products to Warner Bros.’ 1986 production of the Tom Cruise-helmed blockbuster “Top Gun.”

We recently took two of their iconic styles with us to Vail, Colorado, USN Bridge Coat in Navy and the A-2 Flight Jacket in Brown. For inspiration of how to wear these pieces, check out the images above. We like pairing these with heavy military-style boots in leather or suede and a trouser in a thick fabric and standout details like an extended waistband or attention-grabbing pattern.
