With the warmer temperatures on the horizon we are thrilled to start incorporating lighter fabrics into our wardrobes. A few weeks ago, we packed our bags and traveled to New Orleans to highlight some of our favorite pieces and outfits for the warmer spring months that are ahead of us. Swapping out our wool and cashmere pieces for lightweight cottons, pure linen and silk-linen blends. Here are a few of the combinations we like here at Gentleman’s Creative to keep you cool during the warmer months ahead.

Morning brunch at Chemin A La Mer wearing a California Cotton & Mulberry Silk Suit Supply Polo

Discovering the back streets of the French Quarter, wearing a full look by Proper Cloth. The blazer is a Loro Piana Wool blended fabric and it is unlined which removes some of the weight.

Strolling through the historical garden district wearing another full look by Proper Cloth. Featuring the Allen Olive Cotton and Linen Trouser and the Allen Beige Wool Silk and Linen Dress Pant , true essentials for the spring and summer.

Smart-casual dinner attire, wearing a Thomas Mason Goldline Light Blue Fine Twill shirt from Proper Cloth. Also featuring the beautiful Bedford Stone Wool Linen and Silk Stretch Jacket that pairs just as well with t-shirt as it does with a dress shirt. The perfect blazer to lighten up your spring wardrobe.

Bonus Accessory: Add a hat (fedora featured above), to your wardrobe this spring, you might end up wearing it more than you thought. This hat was a local pick from a NOLA store in the French Quarter.
